Premier Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has left to Egypt to take part in the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference (COP27).

The premier is joined by foreign minister (FM) Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, other cabinet members and top officials.

In the days before his departure the PM Shehbaz made a post on Twitter to announce that he'll bring up the devastating impacts on climate change Pakistan.

"I am urging the entire world to fulfill its commitment to climate finance, loss and damage fund. Without financial assistance, poorer countries will be vulnerable to the many dangers from climate change. We're calling for justice in the climate" He tweeted.

The prime minister emphasized the post-disaster assessment of Pakistan's needs has demonstrated that the path to rehabilitation and recovery could be slowed by the burden of public debt, the rising cost of global prices for energy and food and the inability to access adaptation funds.

"The world needs to consider Pakistan as an example," he concluded in a series of tweets.

The month before it was announced PM Shehbaz will be vice-chairman for the COP27.

The conference takes place in a period when millions of people living in Pakistan and millions more across the globe are suffering from the severe negative effects of climate changes.
